Rick Hopper, Chairman of the Bahrain British Business Forum’s (BBBF) Special Interest Group (SIG), opened proceedings on a very special evening held in the Al Murjan ballroom at the Movenpick Hotel in Muharraq. Nearly eighty people took part in the BBBF’s first ever ‘Business Speed Networking’.
SteppingStone Global (SSG), a leading consulting, coaching and training organisation based in Bahrain since 2009, orchestrated the event for BBBF members and their guests.
Jean Nicolai, Founder and President of SSG and a Master Neuro-Linguistic Programme practitioner, and Mike Orlov, SSG Partner, highlighted the effectiveness of networking for connecting and fostering business relationships before diving into the hurly-burly of business speed networking.
Commenting on the success of the event Mike Orlov said: “SSG is glad to have been part of the success of BBBF’s first business speed networking initiative. Building and developing mutually beneficial professional connections with other business people is the corner stone for establishing effective business relationships.” Rick Hopper added: “Everyone really enjoyed what was an innovative and refreshing SIG event. We look forward to working with SSG again.” Jean Nicolai said: “Business speed networking is not easy to choreograph, but when it works, everyone who takes part gets a great deal out of a well-run evening.”
