Asharqia Chamber of Commerce Dammam Saudi Arabia

Gallery-10Mr Jean Nicolai, founder of the SteppingStone philosophy and concept, recently conducted an introductory presentation in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce in Dammam, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The intention is to create awareness about the importance of how we manage our human resources and ourselves.

Jean Nicolai has a broad international business experience (Europe and Asia) and is a NLP Master Practitioner. His mission is to help people and organisations reach their objectives in a fast changing world and in challenging economical situations. Most people tend to focus on the problems, with consequences as pessimism, stagnation and frustrations. The SteppingStone strategy is to focus on the solution, the results are: positive and constructive communications, negotiation and solutions.

Jean Nicolai explained the importance of finding the correct balance between the rational objectives and the emotional needs of the human being. That’s why his workshops and seminars about ‘Optimising the available Human Potential by Solution Oriented Communication and Working’ are so well attended and successful.

We live in a challenging world, with amazing and useful high tech communication tools, the problem is, said Jean Nicolai, that the human being did not change as fast in the same way as did the technological evolution (revolution). The way we live, work and do business is dictated by the hunger to have more, do better, go faster and be even more successful than others. Ethics in business are sometimes far away, with the results we see around us. According to him the worldwide economical and financial crisis we have today are partly the result of lack of ethics in business (and in life).

Jean Nicolai is convinced that we (individuals as well as companies) should take very seriously the impact on the long term results of our Human Resources behaviour and management. Productivity and profitability are not only a question of quantity, but also quality. To create a sustainable society we will need to take in consideration 3 essential criteria/values: Win/win – Respect and Economically Justified.

Jean Nicolai explained that in order to create long term improvement of the Human Capital, we have to work in phases: Analyses of needs and challenges, interactive coaching programs and last but not least the implementation phase. Change is a process, and processes take time and focus. The success of the SteppingStone philosophy is the different approach: no typical academic or ex cathedra presentations, but interactive and practical workshops and coaching programs with easy to implement tools and models.

From now on Jean Nicolai will also be active in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar) and in Bahrain. The SteppingStone philosophy and strategy are used in our open workshops & seminars, as well as for custom made In-Company coaching programs.

Jean Nicolai concluded his presentation with the following statement: ‘Ethics in business and life is essential for sustainable success and happiness, it can be realised by implementing the following criteria’;

  • Act and communicate with a Win/Win intention
  • Have Respect for all parties concerned
  • Your objective, proposal, request…. should be Economically justified.
